EZGlassPattern: frequently asked questions
What is EZGlassPattern?
EZGlassPattern turns a photo into a stained glass pattern, or checks a pattern you already have, and tells you whether every piece can actually be cut. Then it prints the pattern full size with a numbered key and a shopping list.
What does the cut check look for?
Sharp inside corners, deep inside curves, pieces trapped inside other pieces, slivers, thin necks and tiny pieces, crowded junctions, and lines that don't close. Each is judged at your finished size minus the foil or lead line, with a one-click fix.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your photos and patterns never leave your device.
Which files can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG or PDF. For a PDF, the first page is checked, so put the pattern you want on page 1 (or save that page as a PNG).
Is it free?
The cut check on any uploaded pattern, the photo-to-pattern preview and the difficulty score are free, with no account. The printable pattern packet needs a Project Pass ($5 one-time for 30 days) or Lifetime.
Are the cut-check limits a standard?
No. They are starting values, not a standard, and they will be tuned with working glass makers. The Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced settings make them stricter or looser, because an experienced cutter can manage shapes a beginner should avoid.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we'll send you a 6-digit code. There is no password to remember.
Can I cancel any time?
There's nothing to cancel. The Project Pass is a one-time $5 payment for 30 days of pattern packet exports and doesn't renew. Lifetime is a one-time payment too. We never charge you again.
How do I delete my account?
